Access on sloping ground

The route, cabin and landings are developed around the people and the place.

The first assessment considers the vertical rise, alignment, levels to connect, obstacles, site access and likely frequency of use. This establishes whether an inclined lift is appropriate and what information is needed next.

F. Labbé coordinates the metalwork, mechanics, stations and interfaces with the surrounding civil and landscape work through installation and commissioning.

Project stages

From feasibility to long-term operation.

A successful installation begins with accurate site information and continues with proper access for inspection and maintenance.

  1. 01

    Initial feasibility

Site, route, use and access are reviewed from drawings, photographs and survey information.

  2. 02

    Design development

Cabin, guideway, landings, controls, safety provisions and civil interfaces are coordinated.

  3. 03

    Manufacture and installation

The equipment is produced, assembled on site and adjusted in its operating environment.

  4. 04

    Commissioning and maintenance

Testing, handover and an appropriate maintenance programme support reliable operation.
