The project

Designed for its setting, use and architecture.

The structure, treads and balustrade have to be designed as one assembly. We study circulation, headroom, landings, supports and the visual weight of the stair before resolving its fabrication.

A staircase may be deliberately sculptural or almost disappear into the architecture. Steel sections, timber or stone treads, glass and handrails are coordinated to achieve the right balance.

What we resolve

The decisions that define the finished work.

One coordinated assembly

Structure, treads, landings, balustrades and handrails are detailed together.

Made to the building

Geometry responds to the available space, levels, walls and supporting construction.

Material dialogue

Steel can be paired with timber, stone, glass, stainless steel or forged details.

Controlled installation

Access, lifting, temporary support and final site connections are anticipated in the design.

Applications

For private, professional and public projects.

Design and installation are adapted to the building, its users and the site conditions recorded during the survey.

Villa interiors

External garden stairs

Duplex apartments

Hotels, offices and public buildings

Our involvement

From site survey to final handover.

Site information feeds into the fabrication drawings, then stays with the workshop and installation team.

  1. Survey and circulation study

We record levels, openings, supports, headroom and site access.

  2. Design development

The stair geometry, structure, treads, balustrade and interfaces are coordinated.

  3. Fabrication

Components are made in the workshop and prepared in transportable, installable sections.

  4. Site assembly

Our team installs the stair, completes connections and carries out final alignment.

Frequently asked questions

Useful points before an initial assessment.

Can you combine a steel structure with timber treads?+

Yes. Timber, stone and glass are frequently combined with steel, with their junctions planned as part of the overall design.

Do you make external staircases?+

Yes. Drainage, slip resistance, corrosion protection and the supporting ground or building are addressed for exterior work.

Can you work in an occupied home?+

Yes, subject to access and site conditions. The installation sequence is planned to limit disruption and protect existing finishes.
