The project

Designed for its setting, use and architecture.

A gate has to work reliably every day, withstand its surroundings and feel at home in the architecture. Its proportions are developed in relation to the façade, boundary walls, landscaping and existing metalwork.

Available space, gradients, wind exposure, privacy and patterns of use are reviewed before we recommend a swing or sliding system. We make both restrained contemporary gates and traditional wrought-iron work inspired by an existing detail.

What we resolve

The decisions that define the finished work.

Designed for the property

Proportions, infill, motifs and finishes are developed for the entrance rather than selected from a catalogue.

The right opening system

Swinging, sliding, manual or automated, chosen around the slope, clearance and frequency of use.

Built for outdoor exposure

Materials and protective finishes are specified with the site in mind, including demanding coastal locations.

A coordinated entrance

Pedestrian gates, railings and boundary screens can be designed as part of the same architectural composition.

Applications

For private, professional and public projects.

Design and installation are adapted to the building, its users and the site conditions recorded during the survey.

Private villas and estates

Apartment buildings

Hotels and hospitality venues

Professional and institutional sites

Our involvement

From site survey to final handover.

Site information feeds into the fabrication drawings, then stays with the workshop and installation team.

  1. Site survey and brief

We review access, use, surroundings and the architectural references for the project.

  2. Design development

Our design office resolves the drawing, sections, automation and fixing points.

  3. Workshop manufacture

The gate is formed and assembled in our Nice workshop, then prepared for its selected finish.

  4. Installation and adjustment

Our own team installs the complete assembly and carries out the final settings on site.

Frequently asked questions

Useful points before an initial assessment.

Do you make automated gates?+

Yes. The opening system and automation are selected for the weight of the gate, frequency of use and configuration of the entrance.

Can you echo an existing architectural motif?+

Yes. A detail from a railing, grille or façade can provide the starting point for a coherent new design without resorting to a standard pattern.

Do you work in Monaco and the Var?+

Yes. We regularly work between Monaco, Nice, Cannes and the Var, and travel farther when the nature of the project calls for it.
